Georgia Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate Herschel Walker blasts allowing biological men to compete against women in sports in a new runoff election campaign ad that features former University of Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines.
Gaines tied with transgender athlete Lia Thomas for fifth place in the women’s 200-yard freestyle finals during this year’s NCAA championships but was not awarded the fifth-place trophy.

“I’m Riley Gaines, a 12-time NCAA all-American,” the swimmer says in the ad. “For more than a decade, I worked so hard; 4 a.m. practices to be the best. But, my senior year, I was forced to compete against a biological male.”
“That’s unfair and wrong,” adds Walker in the ad.
“A man won the swimming title that belonged to a woman,” Gaines continues. “And Sen. Warnock voted to let it happen. Herschel Walker stands up for what’s right.”
Not a single piece of science anywhere in the world shows male puberty physical advantage can be removed! Fact. By allowing any male in to woman’s sport you’re telling females they don’t deserve fair sport. It’s beyond despicable. Don’t stand for it. #sayno #factsnotfeelings

“Warnock’s afraid to stand up for female athletes,” Walker, a former professional football player and Heisman Trophy winner, says in the ad.
Walker faces off against Georgia Senator Raphael Warnock in the runoff election on December 6.
LGBTQ activists condemned the ad that refers to transgender athletes as “biological males,” reported the Hill.
The activists are using the horrific shooting at an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado to draw political blame to candidates who want to protect women’s sports.
“Shame on Herschel Walker — and shame on every politician using LGBTQ lives as political props,” Nadine Bridges, executive director of the LGBTQ activist organization One Colorado, said Monday, according to the report.
Bridges continued the LGBTQ activist narrative that there is a relationship – what she called an “undeniable nexus” – between the shooting and the Walker ad that refers to transgender athletes as “biological men,” factual language that Bridges called “baseless and hateful rhetoric.”
Airing this kind of rubbish under the guise of a political campaign was already deplorable enough, but in the wake of Saturday's massacre, it’s simply unconscionable. These ads should be pulled immediately before more lives are put in danger.https://t.co/TOJp2cCPr3

Sarah Kate Ellis, CEO of GLAAD went as far as to demand Walker pull his ad about protecting women’s sports “immediately from Georgia’s airwaves before more lives are put in danger,” the Hill noted.
Ellis also called for gun control and the regulation of social media to protect LGBTQ individuals.
If we want to prevent mass shootings like the one in Colorado Springs, we need our government to pass gun control laws, codify protections for LGBTQ people, and regulate social media platforms. That’s how we keep our communities safe. pic.twitter.com/MLx92oMBwh

On Tuesday, the woke National Hockey League (NHL) came out in full support of transgender hockey players, tweeting, “The NHL is proud to support this past weekend’s Team Trans Draft Tournament in Middleton, Wisconsin. This was the first tournament comprised entirely of transgender and nonbinary players, with around 80 folks participating!”

Trans women are women. Trans men are men. Nonbinary identity is real.

“Trans women are women,” the NHL stated. “Trans men are men. Nonbinary identity is real.”
Last week, however, a federal district court in Texas rejected the Biden administration’s decision to reinterpret the word “sex” to include “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” in federal law.
A federal court has rejected the Biden admin's attempt to redefine "sex" in federal law, ruling that "Title IX’s protections center on differences between the two biological sexes." This is a win for doctors and female athletes. ADF filed an amicus. ⬇️ https://t.co/Ff7e0sMhOb

“Female athletes deserve to compete on a fair and level playing field with other women, and federal law protects equal opportunity for women to excel in sports,” said Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) Legal Counsel Rachel Csutoros.
ADF filed a friend-of-the-court brief in August arguing for the court to protect female athletes from having to compete with biological men.
“We’re pleased the court ruled to not only protect female athletes, but also doctors who should never be forced to perform controversial and medically dangerous procedures that violate their conscience and religious beliefs. In its opinion, the court rightly stopped the Biden administration’s gross overreach of its authority and political agenda,” Csutoros added.
